my mood was spoilt.. yet again....

i had a good start today, beginning with zaza telling me and shahrill not to take breakfast coz she's treating us for a buffet lunch for our birthdays at corona hotel .... my customers pun are being quite cooperative and tak byk karenah this morning.. well, maybe a few complaints when i informed them that our pricing rates (or interest rate in conventional terms) is increasing,but what can i say... other banks are doing the same too....

i got to know bout the increasing interest rate when i called a guy i know in our treasury department yesterday, to confirm on the indicative rates we already discussed on last week....i almost jumped out of my seat when he told me that the rate has increased by 65 basis points (or 0.65 points)... woi! biar btol! how so? and so he told me all about this speculations of the increasing oil price in the market..... since they are the market watcher, they have this system where all the financial institutions can discuss on the issues affecting the market....but his personal forecast, basing on the speculations in the system, was only a 30-40 cents hike.....so for me, ok la lagik kot... 30-40 sen...but i dare not tell anyone coz it was just a forecast... nothing was certain yet.....

but my mood swings upside down when a colleague messaged me when i was on my way returning to the office from a site visit later this evening.....she confirmed that our country's oil price increased by 78 cents a litre... 78 cents????? its now RM2.70 per litre????? FUFU...nasib baik aku dh isi minyak sesiap pagi tadi... tapi nasib tak braper baik sgt jugak la sbb minyak tu pun tahan seminggu jer....pastuh kene isik balik...kan best kalau bole pakai air jer....

that treasury guy mentioned to me yesterday that the globally hiking oil price shouldnt be affecting our country so much, coz we are net oil exporters too..i totally agree with him...in fact, we should be gaining something from the increasing price instead... but that didnt happen, and who can answer these questions?? our beloved government of course.... they know everything, and they are always right...Cayalah Pak Lah! Hidup Pak Lah! Hidup BN! Mati Rakyat!
